Dr. Susan Baker was born and raised in Rochester, NY. In high school she won several awards for her artwork and ran on the Varsity Track and Cross Country teams. She received a BS degree in Biology and Psychology from Syracuse University. While in college she rowed on the Women’s Varsity Crew Team. Dr. Baker received her DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She then moved to the DC area to attend advanced training (General Practice Residency) at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Susan Baker, DDS owned and operated her own Cosmetic and Implant Restoration Practice in Rockville, Maryland a suburb of DC for almost 20 years. Dr. Baker was voted one of “Washington ‘s Top Dentists” in the Tri-state area (top 3% in MD, DC and VA) by her peers.
Dr. Baker vactioned in St. George for 10 years before deciding to sell her successful practice and move to Utah full time in 2006. Dr. Baker started Snow Canyon Dental and practiced General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry until 2016. When her parents fell ill she sold her practice and moved back to Rochester to care for them full time. After their passing she was ready to move back to St. George. She missed her friends, neighbors and amazing patients.
Canyon Crossing Dental is Dr. Baker’s new practice on Snow Canyon Parkway. With the most modern technology and relaxing surroundings, it suits her personality and style of providing dental services. She loves the challenge of practicing dentistry, having fun at work and enjoying relationships created with patients.
